Things are looking up for you, Hawkbeak, he thinks wryly to himself, a sardonic smile at his face. He hadn't spoken that nickname to himself in some turns. Zircath cocks his head curiously, wondering why the sudden twist in mood had taken R'tor.

It's just sort of funny, is all. I was always ridiculed and left out, away. And now, look at me! The tall young man smiles at his surroundings, proud and pleased to be among them. Soon this group of young ones with their Impressed would begin training, learning to fly and soar. Then....

Between. Zircath says simply, his breathing the echo of R'tor's own. Nodding his head, he waits to watch the rest of the hatching, eager to see how it developed.
