Adraline smiled and waved back, noticing the oddly dazed expression on the girl's face, and privately asking Xuvth, D'you think she's seen many 'riders before? she asked.
No.
Then the girl broke into a huge smile, and Adraline was emboldened to walk over and greet her.
"Hullo. I'm Adraline, and this darling is Xuvth," she said, pointing at her big blue lifemate.
"I'm here to watch the Hatching until my weyrmate, M'kir, comes back. Oh, good luck by the way."
Honey, Sage, Thyme, and Oregano all started chirping for recognition.
"And these are my four green flit bondmates, Honey, Sage, Thyme, and Oregano," she said, pointing to each in turn.
