"Nice job! He looks awesome! Hope to see you soon!" Kuman calls after her, grey eyes drinking in the scene greedily. He had hoped the second egg was for him, but he still kept himself together.Fewer Canidates remained, but plenty of eggs did. Looking up, he beams at the queen, proud that she could produce such a clutch. The first two were very likely looking dragons, and he hoped to share the skies with their riders. Thaia was a nice girl, he was glad she had Impressed. He told himself not to get over anxious, not to overreact. Paitence was a better companion than antsiness, he knew. But this was a special day! The Hatching, and it meant so much to him, just to be here.

Arkia watches the second Impression with something like awe. The dragonet, awkward and ungainly, knew just where to go, and who to go to. As she sees the two minds meet in an unspoken whir of the hatchling's rainbow eyes, her longing grows fiercer, rivaling the beat of her heart. More than anything, she wanted someone to love. The blissful expression crosses over another soon-to-be rider's face, and she adds her well wishes along with Kuman's. "May your lifemate live forever!" She calls to Thaia before drawing toward her own thoughts. Everyone looked so happy when they Impressed, and no disappointment was present. How could any be? This was a dragon, and she was more determined than ever to be a part of the sky.

Let one see me, I'm here! I'm here! She calls to the eggs with her silent hope. I'm here.
