*Larger than most of its clutchmates, this egg seems determined to contain the struggling hatchling within. In moments, however, a bronze snout pokes through the mottled shell, shattering the rest and sending shards flying. The young dragonet staggers before finding his balance and walking forward. His hide, too, is tinged drastically grey, but he still is large and reasonably healthy, considering his long imprisonment.
