Subject: She stands on her toes in the attempt of not feeling the heat of the sand.

Nervously she flip hair over her shoulder, pushing the few escaped strands behind her ear. She looks around at the others to see what they were doing, then just continued to stand there, feeling foolish. What if she was too late? What if all the eggs were Impressed all ready? Then she would smile and move on, she thought harshly, that's what she always did, and this was no different.

Moving away from thoughts that threatened to bring self-pity, Katinka smiles as she watches the dragonet Erasth be Impressed by T'rep. If only that would happen to her.... She pinches herself firmly, telling herself to stop thinking such thoughts. It wasn't going to do anything to dwell on what might happen, only thing to do was to work with the present and let the future unfold itself.
