Subject: Kal'nith is silent for a long time. Her reply is one word long, ‘Betrayal.' The concept appears dark within her mind. 'Yes,' she answers slowly after another short silence, 'Fenvir plans to drive the shadow out of the land. When it leaves, paradise should return. But we can't see the shadow. Mankind is able.'
In reply to: Fate 's message, "‘Well, I'm not sure how to explain.' Kal'nith shifts uneasily. In Naverin's mind comes a flood of images. The golden object opens to a flood of light, and when the light clears the swamp is no more, but instead there are rolling hills, emerald forests, distant snow-peaked mountains, and clear rivers everywhere. The land is alive and happy, and it is summer all the time. All of the wolves live happily and in peace. ‘Life was always like that,' Kal'nith explains, ‘Until one day...' The vision grows darker. The vision is shown from Kal'nith's view, as she looks up to see Fenvir talking to some shadow in the distance. They seem to reach an agreement, and the shadow leaves. But soon it returns, and strikes the land. It steals all of the life and forces it all into one object, a golden egg-like thing...Very similar to the one flying overhead. ‘But the wolves cannot touch that thing. The wolves cannot see the shadow. Not anymore. That is why we need you to help us find paradise.'" on 13:26:23 12/04/04 Sat

  • "I understand that you say we can see the shadow, but how are we supposed to fight it and make it leave? I've never faught a shadow before, and I'm not really sure I would know how to."
