OOC: Chaftar, I'm not allowed to give you super powers. I checked. I wanted you to be a dragon-spawn with inhuman strength and the ability to breath fire. It was not an acceptable idea, I found out. I'm sorry if you hate your history. I had fun making it up. It doesn't really provide you with a goal in life, but I'd rather you came up with your own. I've given you a bit of leeway, just in case you want to come up with your own. A lot can be done in four years... Kindly look inside for what I wrote during my classes. Some of the original colonists at Carnerik weren't pleased with this natural..." he looks around the forest and grins, "Some people aren't happy with paradise. The took their boats and they set off. They found land, and a booming civilization. They just joined in. There was one seaside town in particular"

Kraven rubbed his hands nervously when he spoke at first, "My many times great grandfather was with them. I was born there, and raised there. I came here on a mission.

"There was another, far smaller group of rebels who elected not to abandon Carnerik by sea, but over the mountains. Supposedly, they were the first to befriend the dragons and use their aid. I don't know, I've only heard myths. They developed into a twisted cult, abusing dragon power and creating dark dragons, which they could allegedly control dark dragons completely, and use them in war. No one paid the small group of fools any heed. I don't think even Carnerik knew about them. No one did, until one stray flier came to my home town."

Kraven winced at the memory, "I was 23 years old. I was raised to become a sort of ranger, but I elected to be an assassin. Please, do not ask me why. Still, when I saw the exhausted rider I took him to a doctor and had him tended to. My leader spoke with the man about the guilds intention. I do not know what they spoke of behind closed doors, but next thing I knew I had received a hit. I was to assassinate the leader of the cult," Kraven looked directly into Chaftar's eyes, "Your father."

At this point he stops, and takes a deep breath, "Most of that is just my background. It needed to be said, for any of this to make sense." Kraven turns and looks at Chaftar carefully, "Are you sure you want to know this? Once you hear it, I can't erase it from you. Wouldn't you rather create a past for yourself? It might be...easier."
