Subject: OOC: My apologies for the delay. This has been a rather slow thread, and I wasn't expecting newcomers in the near future, so I wasn't posting frequently. (Of course, newcomers are welcome, don't take that the wrong way, I was just a bit surprised.) I think I'll return to posting daily, now. *ahem* The creatures' post is inside.

Still OOC: To the newcomers: So that you don't need to locate the older thread, note that these wolves aren't actually wolves. I've put the actual description below. (I wouldn't mention it, but it's kind of important.)
"The creature is huge--6 feet at the shoulder--with shaggy grey fur. Patches of brown and black filter through, as well as a lone streak of deep red on the left side, but the impression you get is of a large and unkempt grey ball. With fangs, of course. The legs are thin--albeit shaggy--similar to a dog's legs, but the paws themselves are similar to the large cats: thick, soft, and with sharp claws. The tail appears normal, except it is substantially larger than on any dog you've ever seen. The tail could easily wrap itself around the body, and looks agile enough to be capable of doing so. The head is very wolf-like in appearance."

If you would kindly read at LEAST the post with your name, and the little note at the bottom, you'll have all the info your character needs.

(Finally!) BIC: The wolves seems startled at the arrival of the newcomers, and their formation yields slightly. The forest was behind them, so in order to face the new threat, they'd have their backs to the hunted two. They seem uncertain and simply stand, staring at the elf and tiger. Soon, however, they are jolted into action.

The tiger's prey turns towards the beast and prepares for battle, but not striking first. If anything, it backs away slowly, raising its curved tail into the air like a frightened scorpion. It is careful not to interfere with the alpha wolf, and backs away in a curved line.

Kia's arrow thuds deeply into the hide of the closest wolf. It grunts in surprise, but has little other reaction. The arrow appears to have had a more glancing blow, and is now slightly tangled in the fur. Kia also notices that the fur is deceiving: it is several layers thicker than it appears. It would take a well aimed and powerful arrow to do any damage to the hide of these monsters. The creature turns around to face Kia, and begins to charge—completely breaking the formation.

Naverin arrives after Kia and the tiger, and is therefore unnoticed by the wolves at first. (Not for long.) Her arrow strikes a wolf in the head, just below the ear. The wolf was unprepared for this, and throws his front legs high, in a bucking motion, as he wails loudly. Several other wolves turn abruptly, and see their comrade bleeding. They begin to rush towards him, and a few see Naverin with her bow. They begin to rush her, in an unorganized line. (3 wolves, if you'd like an exact amount)

Lunae manages to attract the wolf's attention, and it steps off of Yumakami to begin advancing towards the warrior. It keeps its head low, and emits a low, harsh growl. It, too, raises its tail in a scorpion-like manner, and stalks towards Lunae slowly.

The alpha wolf lightly leaps over the rushing river, and watches from the far bank, a look of vague amusement on his face.

OOC: Wow, this post is long. For the record, I would appreciate you reading ALL the paragraphs, but you only really need your own. And just so that we're clear:
Total number of wolf-creatures: 9 (including leader)
Against Tiger: 1
Against Kia: 1
Against Naverin: 3
Against Lunae/Yumakami: 1 (but technically it's all the remaining wolves)
Not doing anything: 2
Watching with interest: 1
