Anemia isn't very fun, for sure. I probably am, myself, since I'm still nursing my daughter, and don't eat (or drink) enough stuff with iron for one person, let alone two.:\ I'm supposed to still be taking prenatal vitamins for it, but I can't ever remember them! I had it real bad once before, after an extremely early delivery. My dad had given blood in prep for surgery a week before we both were tested, and my iron count was lower than his!! The solution? A big liver dinner for the whole family! (That only works if you like it, of course--my whole family happens to love liver...;)lol) So...drink your milk, eat your red meat, take whatever vitamins your doc gives ya (presuming he will, whenever I've been tested low they did with me) and eat your liver if ya can!lol
