Subject: Wandering

A tall girl emerges from the forest. She walks over to the benches her booted feet not making a sound on the dry leaves. She brushes the dirt of the damp bench and sits by the fire and sheds her forest green cloak and sets down her jeweled staff. She folds her cloak neatly and sets it on the bench beside her. She is a girl of dark, delicate complexion. Her dark brown hair falls loosely over her straight shoulders. A white tunic and brown breeches cover her bronzed skin. She holds thickly calloused hands to the fire to be warmed. A breeze blows her long hair in her face. Looking at her hair, annoyed by the limited vision it causes she puts in a neatly plaited braid. Satisfied she sits, listening to the eerie music, trying to identify its source. Alone and tired, she spreads out her bedroll by the fire, prefering the soft ground the hard bench, she is lolled to sleep by the mysterious music.
