In reply to: Victim? 's message, "OOC: Aena! Behold! I'm alive and well, and waiting for you. (Of course, if other people are around and their characters are idle, they're welcome to join. We aren't the swiftest posters, but we rumble along.)" on 15:50:51 01/16/05 Sun

  • "Captain Kinere's ship? No. I've never even heard of it." Dar stared out to sea. In truth the ship hadn't sunk. He had to get away. These two looked friendly enough but he had learned long ago that appearances are often deceiving and he did not trust easily. (Inside) -- Dar, 05:03:03 02/03/05 Thu
  • Victim resists heaving a huge sigh of relief. Kinere was okay! No news had to be good news. Instead of celebrating, he looks back to Dar, "Well, I am sorry that your ship has sunk. Should we look for other survivors? I have a fishing boat docked not too far away." he speaks as gently as he can, but he's blunt, nonetheless. (Inside again) -- Victim?, 07:04:43 02/03/05 Thu
  • Victim shrugs, "Well, maybe we can go fishing later anyway." He takes one more glance out towards the setting sun, estimating the time until it fell completely under the horizon. A storm would be troublesome...but if this Dar fellow really had been drifting for that long, it shouldn't be a problem. "I'm glad the sharks didn't get you, Dar. Do you need medical attention, or just a bit of rest?" as he speaks, he reaches into his puch and hauls out a small flask and a few dry crackers. Wordlessly, he hands them to the castaway. -- Victim?, 15:13:22 02/03/05 Thu
