Aranye quickly dresses in her own suit and flippers. She places the mask over her forhead. Her practiced eyes can tell even from a distance that her apprentices had put on their gear correctly. "Good, very good! First thing to do is take of the aqua-lungs before you break your backs. We'll carry them down to the water- Yes, we are going swimming. Take this part," she instructs them, holding up the plastic tube that allows her to breath. "You place it in your mouth, and breath through it." Aranye demonstrates, then takes it out so that she can speak again. "You can't talk or open your mouth with it in, or water will get into your mouth. It won't fall out," she assures them, "Because of this outer ring." She points to the oval flare around the edge of the tube." Then she slip the mask over her eyes. "The mask goes over your eyes, as I'm sure you figured out, so that you can open your eyes underwater." She pauses for a moment to allow the information to sink in. "Any questions?"
