*A sleek grey delphinic form races through the roughening waves. Jet chatters her message, her summons through the water as she dives a few feet before breaching. Flying through the water, a rush of pleasure surges through her as she crosses that silver barrier between warm air and cool water. Soon, she's entered the area where the two pods' territories overlap. The two pods are extremely friendly, having been once all one pod. Soon she spots the pod leader flying towards her. This leader is older, named Fay. Fay charges through the waves, meeting up with Jet quickly. The two exchange friendly greetings, before Jet gets to the heart and relays Chae's message from Aera. Fay squirts water thoughtfully. "Pods good friends. We help. You need know my pod. Come." Without waiting for an answer, Fay spins and races away. Jet, being younger (and the fastest in her pod) keeps up easily, but soon the endurance of Fay pushes Jet nearly beyond her limits. Both dolphins feel the tugs from the Great Western Current, but Fay spins around again and Jet gratefully floats for a moment. Within minutes, eight new dolphins surround the two females. Fay introduces each. "Grap, explores good." A large male dips his rostrum into the water and splashes Jet. "Ver, good talker." A smaller female grins a dolphin's perpetual grin. "Yes, I speak well." Jet is impressed. "Eeb, fish-hunter." An average male splashes. "Aki, daughter." A pretty female bobs her head. "Lude, son." Another handsome male splashes. "Goy, mate." The largest male of the pod eyeballs Jet. "Baf," a young, hardly adult male, "Ney," a look-alike female. "They twins." Jet bobs, trying to memorize the new faces and names. "You tell," Fay directs Jet. She blinks, startled. And repeats her message. "Aya, partner, needs help. Lot of humans wanting partners, not enough dolphins in my pod. Ask you. You help us?" Jet waits, unsure of what these dolphins would say. At any time, she knew how her own pod would respond to any given situation, but these are strangers. Baf and Ney bobs their heads, as well as Aki and Lude. Grap and Ver are half a second behind to agree, and Eeb squee's. Jet glances at Goy, who is still eyeballing her. He nods slowly. Fay grins. "There your answer. Go tell now?" Jet bobs. "Yes, I go tell Aya. She be glad." The pod and Jet seperate, Jet racing back. She knew her partner would assume a yes answer, so she doesn't need to call her out. More human-dolphin partners! This is good.*
