Slenya, calm Slenya, was quivering with excitement along with her green. When Alara gave the signal and Aghath bespoke the green wing, Faieth spread her wings with a dramatic flair. {[Thread!}} she cried, almost like a battle cry, as she sprang into the air. Faieth glided into her position in the formation, emitting a short crow of delight. {{We are the first to rise, Slenya! Do you know why? Greens are best!}} Faieth cried to her rider, who laughed aloud to hear her. 'Indeed we are!' Slenya shouted happily. At long last they were going to fight the Enemy!

J'lar itched with impatience as the green wing moved into position. {{Be patient, J'lar,}} Flagenth admonished him. ~~I can't�~~ But J'lar's comment was cut short as his lifemate launched himself forward after the other two bronzes. J'lar was thrown into one of Flagenth's neckridges. He straightened on the bronze's neck, rubbing his cheek ruefully. ~~I'd appreciate it if you wouldn't do that any more.~~ {{What? It was time to go. Is it my fault you weren't ready?}} Flagenth replied as he swerved into place behind All'ndar and Dialith. J'lar rolled his eyes ever so slightly. ~~Dragons.~~
