But just think Channa," she says quietly, half for her benefit as well, "what if we didn't have riders at all?" The thought brings chills to her, evicting a chunk of her spirits. "And my brother, he's still not back yet." She murmurs, a bit upset, but trying her best to conceal it.

Kadoth speaks. They are at the Great Hall, collecting the numbweed. Not to worry. Shrineth announces, settling protectively beside the others. Leaning against the gold for comfort, the young rider allows a slight sigh to wrack her body, shutting her eyes and trying to gather herself together.
