Subject: Flaming Dragons...

S'rt glances around apprehensively, his muscles tensing with his dragon's as they leap from the ground, flying eagerly towards the onlsaught of Thread. Vath opens his mouth, letting loose a stream of flames that envelops the mass of Thread closest to them. The brown's sinewy neck twists around, as he emits another burst of flame, black ash falling downwards. Almost happily Vath scorches another bit, resisting the urge to show off.
Better safe than sorry.

Another clump is burned to nothingness, as the brown enthusiastically flames the menace. Much to his rider's chagrin.

}Limrt feels likes cheering as her largish blue quietly charrs the Thread into ashy bits. She chuckles to herself, Tyleth twists his head around to flame some on their left, his eye whirling a curious mixture.
Don't worry, I'm not insane. This is just exhilerating. Nothing else. Tyleth flames another bit just as calmly as he has the previous clumps. [Well, if you say so...} You're in my mind, can't you tell? [I'm trying to remember if you've always been like this, that's all.] Mean!{

>The Fall had started off fine, and Desoth has escaped any harm. As had Vitoria. A number strands made their way down, above Vitoria's helmeted head, unknown to her. As they came in contact with her head, they burned through almost immediately, Desoth's panicked bugle was their last sound as the pair went between, it was too late.<

Emer glanced around for T'liv, hoping that nothing would happen to her weyrmate during the Fall. Falath seemed perfectly calm, and Emer lets the green's coolness calm her. ~We can flame Thread now?~ Yes, we can flame Thread now. ~Wonderful.~ The green's wing's carry them upwards, as Falath lets out quick bursts of flame, making sure to get all the Thread she could, knowing that no green can make it through an entire Fall. A piece of Thread lands on Emer's hand, as Falath insinctively blinks between, it freezes, flaking off, when they re-emerge, blinking at the comparative brightness, Emer swaths some numbweed on her hand, as Falath burns the Thread into ash. Once her energy reserves are depleted, Falath lands, the pair resting for a bit.

N'an smirks as he sees the silver strands falling above them. Evalenth is as eager as he to fight the menace. With energy to spare they begin to flame. Her green wings get scored a few times, though only at the tips, and not badly. N'an's left shoulder gets badly scored, he winces even as the green transports him to the welcome coolness of between. He sighs relieved, coming back into Honshu's humid air, smearing numbweed onto the exposed shoulder, a somewhat livid red. As Evalenth spouts bursts of flame, N'an directs her, avoiding the harmful clumps, flaming some, letting others to other dragons. When Evalenth's energy is spent, they land, resting with relief, as N'an gives Evalenth more firestone, and the pair wait for the green's energy to return.
