Subject: Sending them home

Returning to her green after tending a few fellow scored, the rider hugs the wounded dragon gently. "Roth, can you go between and get us home? I'll give you a bath and an oiling, and then let you nap." The dragon nods mutely, her eyes whirling a pastel mixture of muted orange and periwinkle. Climbing aboard, she winces as she feels Euroth strain for altitude, feeling the welcoming edge of between reach in for her.

"Alright brown Wing, nice fighting. Make sure, Virth, that we don't have any burrowers."

Like no others did that. The brown grumbles as he complies, his wings sweeping them along nicely. NOW can we go home and sleep? Being a Wingleader is strenuous.

"Think S'sha will flame the browns, or d'you think we did okay?" The rider asks amusedly, scanning along with Virth.

You never know, but I have a feeling it was fine. I need oiling, I'm sooty. The weyrlings got their training for first 'Fall, glad of that. You know, for only having R'nos and Leth to start with, we ended up alright. On that note, the pair leap to that familiar cold known as between.

Rider mine, go to Healer Hall, that's going to scar. It hurts, I can feel it hurting. Hakath mutters as the bronze soars along dimly after the 'Fall. His wings pinioned by the summery post-Fall air, he glides quietly. Remember Eve, and how she waited?

"I remember, Hak. But I got it taken care of." The rakish scar lining down from the bronzerider's forehead to his chin throbs slightly, the red line practically factioning his face. Wincing against it, R'kese reaches for his vial of numbweed. "This is all I need, it's trivial. Riders have more pressing wounds then mine, I am no weyrling Hak." R'kese protests before a grumbling Hakath blinks them to the Perches for a wash and sleep.
