This one," he touches the belt that is over his riding leathers, "only holds the tunic down. I find it easier to have a second one underneath." He grins, then darkens. "Thread that would have burrowed hit our riders and dragons instead."

It is then that Viouth responds the Jeneth. Before the bronze can reply, A'rak takes over. Seeing the possible danger that the weyrling is in, Jeneth moves to stand slightly to one side of Viouth. Close enough to intervene if needed, far enough not to crowd or seem protective. "We aren't going to move him," T'ren answers with a shake of his head. He quickly scrawls a note on the piece of hide brought to him by Eir. "Shoulders, neck, back. We'll bring a Healer to him, moving him-" Before going on, T'ren lowers his voice. "-might kill him."
