I remember at the start of season 8, CC had said that we would know who the father is before Christmas.

Funny...Christmas was almost 4 months ago.

It looks like we may not know until the very last episode. CC has left it in question as to who the father is--being that Scully's IVF didn't take as we saw in the Per Manum flashback. Then we see that her doctors are in on some evil alien-baby scheme, so now there's *that* question added to the mystery pot.

With the way this season is going, CC will probably have Scully wake up in her bed and it's all been a bad dream lol!
