Here resides everything that isn't contained in the majestic Hold itself. The stables, the tracks, the fields, pastures, everything. The occasional dragonrider lands outside, Thread falls outside, and Gathers are held outside, as well as races.

    Three runnerbeasts galloped over the hills, two being ridden, one being led. A young boy on a bay whooped and yelled, he was finally free! Yohji laughed beside him. The steal hadn't been much, but three runnerbeasts had been hard. Luckily, a banquet had just been held, and most were in the kitchens, cleaning. He hadn't gone unseen, that he knew for certian, but it didn't matter anyway. There was no way they could have followed him all the way out there. The walk there, the ride back, had taken two days and one night. Dusk fell as he returned. Returned 'home'

  • A cloaked figure approaches -- Basillisk, 16:34:36 12/18/01 Tue
    A shady figure, approaches wearing a black cloak, and firm black boots. His amber eyes seem to see past the walls of Crom as he tosses his long dagger lightly in one hand. Suddenly he flings it at the wall and it burries itself, he then proceeds to hastily post a message on the wall. It reads:

    To all malcontents of Pern, come to the cave off Igen Weyr. I am spreading, the word of the malcontents. I have created a group of bandits and thieves to bring some lawlessness to Pern. I shall be hitting trade caravans, and gathers all over Pern, so join me now.

    The figure then retrieves his dagger and seems to melt from view with a smile that seems to last even after he is gone.
