Subject: Making charts

Muttering to himself he bends over his spreads and scrolls with a writing stylus. Tapping his nose as he thinks, he'll often pause to scribble in slightly crazed copperplate. The flit on his shoulder peers and trills, reprimanding or approving as she sees fit. Her delicate trail of a tail twines around his neck, a flash of quick sweet gold on the broad plain neck.

"These beasts need tending to, Lil. Lookit all the foot care and stuff. I'll need to make diagrams for the apprentices, too." Cheeping her agreement, Lilim leaps onto hs desk and marches across it, dutifully handing him scrolls and pictures as he works. "And charts for each one's care too. So when they're ready enough....right." Gruffly he writes each occupant's name and their feeding schedule. "Smell mountain bread, Lil? I hope Nadine thought of me when she made it.." He grins as he hears his stomach protest its emptiness.
