Subject: He enters and claps his hands once, the sound ringing out before him.

Nodding to his son, he tacks up a few charts and scrolls, Lilim muttering assistance at his shoulder. Watching the proceedings, he waves his son to help him move some equipment and gather tack from the stables. Turning to face the apprentices, he nods his approval.

"Well, I do believe most of you are here, I think one lad is still missing. We should be able to catch him up though. Let me begin by saying that most of you probably have an aqcuaintance with runners and herdbeasts, or have even ridden them. We will cover both types of animals here. We do things pretty different around here, my son and I. Shall we begin, then?" He strides up to one of the charts and taps it.

"This here is the feeding schedule for the runners, each attuned to a different specification. Soon, based on your first few weeks (real time maybe five days) of caring for and working with the animals, you'll have to learn the schedule for 'your' runner. As it stands now, all of you will be up and at it early with the runners and the herdbeasts. My journeyman Jent has been so kind as to help my dog whelp, and when those pups get old enough, he will instruct you on training." He looks around at each person and nods.

"Any questions or concerns so far?"
