Carefully loading a tray for the drudge to take over with meat rolls, chowder, and bread, she directs him to the sitting girl with a smile. Adding a small dish piled high with fishrolls and meat scraps for the flit, she places it on the tray and balances it carefullty. "There you go, now, sir, just take that on over to that young lady over there, I gotta see to the rest of the bakings. Sentinel, take this flask of klah and go help him."

The drudge and the bronze flit head for the table, the man placing the tray on Prithi's table while the flit gently sets the container of warm klah down. The drudge gives a fleeting nod and darts off to help his fellows while the flit streams back to help his mistress.
