Hoping against hope that this would work, as patiently as possible she took one meat roll and followed Tia's example of breaking it in half. Handing one to the brown and then the green, the flits take the food greedily, gobbling it all down in seconds. Quickly Paulina hands them each another half of a meat roll, and they eat that also.

Finally they settle down, as do her own frenzied nerves. Watching her drowsing flits, chewing on a fish roll, she smiles.

"Thank you so much Tia." Turning her wide-eyed gaze of delight on her friend, she tentatively scratches the head of the green. When the flit responds by pressing her small head into Paulina's finger, the young woman's scratches become more confident.

"I suppose these two need names, right?" She grins ruefully. "I'm rather inept when it comes down to firelizards. I haven't had much experience, external or internal." Thoughtfully she studies each flit in turn. "Do you think Kiona would work as a name for the green? And perhaps Calder for the brown?"

Paulina takes on a pensive quietness, murmuring to her Impressed flits. Then she looks up at Tia, her eyes bright.
