Subject: New Lady of the Hold...

Hallie-Skye stepped into area quietly, feeling as if the Hold had welcomed her. It had been a long time since a Lady graced Benden, but now she no longer had to wait. Her Lord had found his partner at last. Hallie placed a hand on the wood work of a door frame and called out.
"Hello? M'Lord Kallendel?"
Her grey eyes brightened as she heard a noise come from the other side of the door. When it opened, the light faded, but quickly returned. Ansel and Seldon looked up at her in wonder, then ran over and hugged her. Hallie smiled and placed a hand on each of their heads, looking around for Dellic and Nevant. The former came first, soon followed by the latter. Dellic smiled and bowed, glaring at Nevant until he did the same. After paying his formalities, Nevant sighed and walked back into the room. Hallie waited until he alerted his father. As the Lord stepped out, Hallie-Skye smiled and untangled herself from Ansel and Seldon. The two adults greeted each other in the middle and left for the Kitchens to discuss important buisiness. Nevant watched them leave, something of disgust in his eyes. Seldon and Ansel started after the couple, but Dellic held them back and steered them into the room. With one final glance, Nevant turned and followed.

{*cough* the conversation between Kallendel and Hallie-Skye is personal, but basically, he proposes and she accepts. Now Lady Hallie-Skye, Benden has a Lord and Lady.}
