+The big oger was dead, that was certain. She had seen Damon attempting to sneak up on the beast with something in his hands, had seen the oger seize the boy. She'd seen Crello's spell, and the huge explosion it created. At least, the explosion it seemed to have created. She'd never seen a spell of that magnitude or power released, and the light of the explosion was far greater then the light of the original spell: for some reason she knew it wasn't just Crello's spell that created such a blast. That's where the curiosity came in; the concern was for the body that had been thrown by the force of the explosion, the body of Damon. As she called for Ildana, she had the instictive suspicion that the troublemaker was somehow involved in it. She landed Paprika and dismounted just as Ildana was showing up. Both women bent over the body of Damon, a strange odor hanging in the air around them, the boy's face a strange blue-grey color. Ildana ran a finger along one of his arms, the finger coming away the same blue-grey shade as Damon was. Her eyebrows rose and she looked up at Xephella with a suprised but knowing expression. Xeph straightened as she met Ildana's gaze. When the look turned questioning, she gave a curt nod. The elf bent over and inspected the burns on the boy, then healed them with a touch a few words. Seeing Damon was still awake, she motioned for the boy to look at Xeph. Xeph's jaw tightened a little bit, then she turned to Ildana.
"I'll handle this one. Tell the other's not to bother themselves with it." She then turned back to Damon, her stare rather icy. "You. Council Hall. Now." With that, she got on her dragon and flew toward the caves.+
