"That beast certainly gave us some trouble...I saw the council member, Crello approaching on his dragon to stop a battle that had gotten out of hand. Damon had been seized by the ogre, which looked to finish him off. At about that moment, Crello cast his spell. The resulting light explosion was blinding, and I cannot think that it was councilor's magic that was entirely responsible. Crello looked genuinely suprised." He grins slightly. "Young Damon is inevitably mixed up in trouble--I have a strong suspicion that something of his reacted with Crello's magic, triggering a blast of power that none of us had expected. Whatever it was, it felled the ogre. I think that our friend will have some reckoning with the council now that this is over." Dameon sights Tayren with the healer, and he smiles. "You accounted well for yourself in the battle, Kestra. Theres no lack of courage in you, thats certain."
