†Rinali looked at Lilith with admiration as the large gold suddenly awoke with a rumble of hunger shifting from her belly. {{May we go on a hunt?}} The gold's tone was pleading as she fixed her rider with 'the look', since she knew that 'the look' would get her what she wished. Rinali smiled brightly. [[Of course, love!]] Rinali placed the recently oiled harness on Lilith, being careful about making sure it was secure enough. Then with a swift movement she gracefully scaled the golden side and settled between the last two ridges, quickly snapping on the safety straps. [[Ready?]] Lilith rumbled loudly. [[I'll take that as a yes.]] Lilith moved to the edge of the ledge before she launched herself off, muscles in her hindquarters rippling beneath the glowing hide. Massive wings made the all important downsweep easily, and they were soon gaining altitude. When Rinali felt they were high enough she mentally pictured a small plain, not far fom the weyr, where she and Lilith often hunted. It was abundant in wherries, the kind that Lilith liked best. [[Ok, go!]] Rinali counted briefly as the blackness of between stole over them, then the warm sun was again on her face and Lilith was gliding above the treetops her many faceted eyes scanning for a tender young buck. The gold quickly spotted the mass of creatures and landed downwind of them, so that they may not catch her scent. Rinali quickly slipped off the gold, slapping her shoulder affectionatly. [[Good luck!]] Lilith lifted off once again to glide above the wherries, her physique suddenly dropped as she settled her jaws around the neck of a fat wherry buck, and with a swift jerk she snapped it. Rather than gliding off a bit, she settled where she was, tearing the wherries stomach open, and licking lightly at the steaming entrails which she quickly gulped down. Once finished with the first she again lifted off, this time her greed got her two, though they were smaller than the first. She quickly ate them and set on a fourth. [[That should be enough, remember we will have to fly straight or else risk having that meat spoil in your stomach in the cold of between, and you don't want to be too heavy to make the trip back.]] Rinali admonished the gold, who finished up her fourth and set about cleaning herself. †
