The bronze Connath landed swiftly outside of Southern Hold, and F'lcore jumped off easily, just as the Lady Aja hurried out of the Hold. "Where to today, Lady Aja?" He asked her, as he helped her onto Connath's neck. Unknown to him, her oldest son Jarvis watched from the doorway to the Hold. "Dolphin Hall - I'm going to see Allin." She said, as F'lcore jumped up to sit behind her. He nodded, and Connath flew up into the sky, and when they got high enough, signaled Connath to go between. Just as they set off into between another Dragon (brown Hearth) came out of the sky himself, and let out a mournful cry. He and N'lan had started out practicing going between ~ but they ended up witnessing the end of bronze Connath, rider F'lcore... and the Lady Holder of Southern. {They...they're gone!} Just like Tris, and S'an. {What should we do?} We should probably go tell someone at the Hold - that's where they left from, isn't it? {I think so.} Hearth answered as they landed outside of the Hold. N'lan slowly got down from Hearth, and went up to the Hold, as Jarvis came out. "Do you know who just left a-dragonback?" N'lan asked Jarvis, who nodded. "My mother - Lady Aja." N'lan shut his eyes briefly. The Lady Holder had been the passenger on the Dragon? Just the luck... "Why? Is something wrong?" Jarvis asked him rather sternly. N'lan slowly nodded. "Hearth and myself caught it, lad. Connath's gone. He's in between forever now - and your mother, and his rider." Jarvis stared at him for a moment, then took a deep breath. He almost wanted to accuse the rider of lying, but surely the Dragon could tell when another was gone? "Thank you, DragonRider." Jarvis said finally, and with a nod, he disappeared back into the Hold - he'd have to inform others of the news, now... N'lan turned, jumped back on Hearth, and the two flew back to Ista Weyr.
