Again, either wave/particle alone is not sufficient to explain the behavior of light. How do you explain diffraction with particle theory and how do you explain photoelectric effect and Compton effect with wave? I'd like to think of it this way, before any measurement/detection, it is a wave. When you actually try to detect it, it behaves like particle. So, depending on what you want to measure, it CAN be both wave and particle. It is shortsighted that just because human live in a particle world that in a microscopic scale all matter must behave like you want it. NO WAY. Think of light like a wave packet, that explains both behavior.
