* Dove joins brute in calls, shrill whinney ringing out with urgency. Heart seems to hold still as terror tightens it's chilled, merciless grip. Eyes flit over surroundings briefly, but she takes no interest in the eery beauty of the cavern, attention set fully on finding her child. Shivers run through her, partly from the damp, chilly atmesphere, but mainly from fear for the youth's life. Clouded mahogans lock on rough path ahead, straining to see ahead, praying silently that the form of their foal would come into sight... *

:^: Sphere's flash as they slowly adjust to darkness of black 'pit', wonder filling expression as gaze scan surrounding walls of cave. Near opening, moss coats floor of cave in thick blanket of emerald, vines adorning walls and roof. Farther on, however, the bottom becomes rocky and somewhat harder to travel, the walls glimmering strangly and the roof adorning spikes which hung down threateningly, yet which truely posed no danger. Razors click against stone, tapping echoing through cavern. :^:

:^: Golden youth pauses in mid-step, lobes swivling 'round as familur calls of parent's echo about him, confusion shimmering in dark eyes. It was impossible to tell what direction the calls where coming from. Of course, logically, they would be behind him...but from the sound of it they where ahead. Lobes pin back as he remains stationary, not caring for the confusion that enveloped him. Tossing chiseled dial skywards he gives a snort of frustration. He was sure of one thing, and that was that they were intent on ruining his fun because of petty concerns. Not once did he consider that there was real danger in this cave of wonder.. :^:

:^: After a brief moment he decides to continue on, breaking into a fast paced trot, mangled tail flicking 'gaint back limbs. Gaze drifts upwards to spiked roof, attention not given to path, and as result, he suffered the same fate as his eldest sister did. The ground seemingly dissapears 'neath him, limbs flaring as youth tumbles down steep desent. Sharp squeal of surprise escapes vocals, wince given as he comes to harsh stop at bottom of jagged path. Deep inhalation of breath is taken as yearling immediatly scrambles to standing position. Tender hide now adorned a numbed of cuts, though none serious, save for one fairly deep one of shoulder where young bronc had landed 'pon sharp stone, a little trickle of blood dripping down coat and staining it bright crimson, a few drops landing 'pon earth below him. Cranium rises as he looks up to where he had started, a ways up. Puffing out chest he gives a low nicker, tossing head in triumph that the fall hadn't harmed him greatly. Snorting lightly at the ledge he turns back to the path, continuing on. :^:
