Subject: harley davidson motors

i have a singel cylinder motor that appears to be a harley davidson motor, does anyone know what i have. i think it may be the motor they called the thumper used in a dirt race bike.

I hope that someone will give me a hand, with this issue. My 83 shovel had set for some time and when I started it, oil ran out of the tube that comes from the engine. I can turn a wrench, if I know what I'm doing. Thanks for the time in reading and responding to this request........ Mark, from Missouri........

THIS IS NORMAL FOR A SHOVEL THAT HAS SAT FOR A WHILE. You probably stated it up and it puked oil out its crankcase vent tube infront of the rear tire. just check your oil level.
