A black wolf enters, chasing a deer. When the deer jumps over something, he hears a yelp. When he trots over to see who or what made the yelp, he sees the trapped female. The ebon wolf leapt into action. he fixed his strong teeth into the chain that held it to the ground. When both of them pulled together, the chain broke free. Then, the male held the jaws of the trap steady with his paw and tugged. He tugged for a long and hard as he could, until the female could slip the rest of her paw out. Her paw was severely cut, and he helped her clean it. he whipered a canine "are you alright? What happened?"
