I like the idea of using CDS files, I can be descriptive with regard to folder naming. I can group my cross office projects within one CDS file and use that same one in all offices working on that project (KLVS). Most users do not know how to create/edit a CDS file, but we knew that going in, didnt we? Only certain users were allowed to create projects in DM right? One suggestion is that we stop trying to re-invent the wheel on these things and let us use the software as it was intended or find something new. I will continue to use the 'file issue' commands and create CDS files for my projects. Maybe the rule should be use 'em if you want to, or we should have some training on how to create/use them?
