You've traveled quite a distance already having covered a vast expanse of land and with the sun still high in the sky there is plent of daylight left. Flicking your tail upwards swiping at the clusters of flies gathered here and there trying to rid yourself of them even if it is only for a brief minute, or two. You wonder on ambling along without knowing where you are going, or when you will get there just walking, always walking. Tiredness threatens to overtake you it is a loosing battle against time, the weariness having crept up on you is now close at bay. Somehow to manage to keep your feet moving in a northernly direction and although slow your pace is steady. Finally your perseverance is rewarded for when you turn the next bend and the mist slowly parts you find yourself standing in an open meadow sheltered by a range of mountains protruding out of the ground in the west. The drastic change in temperature is shocking no more does the sun beat down on you drenching your coat in sweat, the atmosphere is hostile and desolate offereing no protection against the raging winds that blow feriously. Though harsh the climate is neverless beautiful, you've wondered unknowingly through a dense evergreen forest where shadows are cast about carelessly scattered about the fine layer of fluffy white snow that covers the ground. A small meandering stream near by is the source of fresh water for the small herd residing here, foraging around you should be able to discover a number of green delicacies, edible shrubs and the like growing close to the earthen floor. A cave at the rear in one of the steep ice caped mountians provides a safe haven from the elements of nature, occasional blizzards and snow storms are not odd about these parts. A tall pitch black stallion, barely out of his childhood canters up to you a welcoming smile on his face. His strong, musculare features and intelligent brown eyes suggests a mix between Arabian and Clydesdale hetigae. "Welcome my friend to Frozen Tundra, the sub-herd of Frozen Lake I hope that you enjoy your stay. Come and talk with me sometime soon okay? I'd enjoy your company," he turns to go leaving you to explore on your own, but then remembering something of improtance he stops. "Oh by the way I'm Moonstone the son of Moonlight Sonata and Stone Lightning," with that he gallops swiftly away.
