Scents asail his nostrils momories ripping through him. He bit back a groan of lonliness and looked behind him to the beautiful female he had with him. His dark eyes spoke silent words to her. The one once known as Shadow but now named Kar stands up proudly and steps out of the shadows looking about him he was different his coat lay sleek against his muscular form the muscles bulging and snaking underneath him. Around his proud neck lay a colar od steel and spikes a silver hook on one side held a bit of leather remenicent of the horrid life he had excaped from. He nudges the female that had slinked up to his side. A stranger not knowing of his recent horrors would think this was his mate yet she seemed to be far to young. What was she to him? He looked about for ones he recognized:: 'She watched carefully her gray eyes matching splendidly with her rich gray coat. She curled up against Kar's side her gray eyes flickering with fear.
