Thank you for your advice.

I had already checked for women's fastpitch in our area and they have a minimum age of 18. I am also looking for ASA 23 and under teams, but I am having a hard time finding information on those.

If I don't find better options, I think I will try practicing with the baseball team while continuing my softball training. That should give me a better idea of how I would handle going back and forth.
