Subject: International pitching coach

To whom It May Concern:



Fastpitch has been my entire life since I was 12, which is very unusual for an American boy. Most guys grow up playing baseball; I grew up with Fastpitch. I began pitching at the age of 13 in our men’s league in Erie PA. 5 years later, I would begin my International pitching career. 3 years after that, I would be the youngest pitcher on the USA Men’s National team. That same year, at the Pan American tournament in Monterrey Mexico, I had a 6-0 record and came away with the Most Valuable Pitcher award. I have been in the USA National program ever since, last traveling with the team in 2000 to the ISF World championship in South Africa.

In addition to my USA experience, I have played Internationally since I was 18 years old. That was my first trip to New Zealand. Many of you may know, New Zealand is the World Champions of Men’s Fastpitch. Many players would go to New Zealand during the American winter to continue playing softball year round. Since then, I have played in New Zealand or Australia a total of 10 years. I have won MVPitcher trophies from leagues and tournaments throughout, including the Most Valuable Player award at the 1991 New Zealand “Colt’s National Championship,” while still only 18 years old.

Here in the USA, I’ve played for some of the countries best teams. Seattle Seafirst (1990 ISC World Champions), Larry Miller Toyota (1995 ISC World runner up), The Farm Tavern (2000 ASA Major National runner up), etc. I could list several individual awards and accomplishments but that’s not what I’m trying to do with this letter.

In 2000, I began doing more and more coaching and pitching instruction. Since then, I have been doing pitching clinics and lessons both here in the USA and Internationally. 4 separate Softball Federations from different countries have hired me to work with both their Men and women’s National teams. I have conducted pitching clinics all around the world, country and locally, near my home of Erie PA, including the annual AAU Men’s International Fastpitch tournament every January in Orlando Florida.

While pitching coaches are a dime a dozen in some areas, ones with actual pitching experience are not. And ones with International or National team credentials are virtually non-existent, or they cost an absolute fortune for their expertise.

I would like to make myself available to your team and teams in your area for clinics and lessons. Please feel free to pass my contact information on to anyone that you feel I may be able to help. I’m available during the week and weekends, regardless of where the camp/clinic may be. Many teams have had me come in for a clinic/demonstration/coaching as a fundraiser for their organization and to help promote softball in their area. I have worked with girl’s 10-under all the way up to National team pitchers with a great deal of success. Now is the perfect time of year to begin training, there is plenty of time to fine-tune things before the spring/summer gets here!
