Subject: 2006 Maryland Stars Tournaments

2006 Maryland STARS Tournaments

The Maryland Stars are coordinating 6 tournaments for the 2006 season.

Three of the tournaments are for select teams and the other three for rec-level teams.

For the seventh consecutive year the Stars are hosting their May Madness, a PONY National Qualifier and for the second year the Stars are offering a fall tournament,the NSA sanctioned oKtober FAST. This year we have added a 16U age group.

The Stars have added an ASA-sanctioned Eastern National Qualifier to the schedule.

This tournament can serve two purposes. The first to earn a berth to the ASA Eastern Nationals and the second to continue playing to keep teams in game shape right up until their national event.

In past years all Stars tournaments have sold out. Thus register and pay early if you want to insure your team has a spot in the tournament.

As in past years, the Stars will continue to work with NSA of Maryland to run three Rec-Level tournaments. The Winfield CLASSiC, "the Grand Daddy of Rec-Level Tournaments, is in its tenth season.
