  Fresh out of college I worked in the art department of a Party Ware Manufacturer, Contempo Colours formerly Beach Products in Kalamazoo Mi.
  
  My experience was one of utter disbelief in the way the department operated. Our motto was "beatings will continue until morale improves" It was common practice to be "pulled aside" once a week for mundane violations. Such as, "you came back a minute late from your break" or "don't ever EVER use the word assume." The management was notorious for choosing one young individual a year to humiliate and demoralize to the point of resignation.
  
  One fateful day it was my turn to encounter the wrath. I received a frantic phone call from my boss who was in N.Y. setting up our corporate booth at the national party show. This individual was panic stricken because she had not yet received a box of mocked up party ware requested earlier that week. I told this person no request was filed, given to me or even discussed She yelled and ranted for 20 minutes that a request was filed and they expected the products there the next day! Reluctantly, I agreed to box and FedEx the items that day.
  
  A few days later while emptying my "in box" I was shocked to the core by finding the work request. There under 15 other papers was the request for 30 items to be mocked up for "party show". Typically when a work order was made it was to be discussed with the designer and a due date assigned. No meeting or discussion ever occurred prior to this "emergency". I cross checked the cc folder with the department secretary for all work requests. I found that an alledged copy had been made (forged), DATED AFTER MY BOSS' RETURN!! Who knows when this request was put in my box.
  
  This individual went out of their way to orchestrate a lame attempted paper trail only to justify the rant and rave episode that they so melodramatically played. AVOID THIS COMPANY!

  The Old Duck, hippo crit, ugly, old, liar, discriminating, fraudulant, buck tooth, says "NO!" to everything, stops progress, won't use a computer, should be retired or otherwise occupied, cruel, nasty, repulsive and revolting,has many evil and horrid deeds under her belt, and I hope she suffers for her bad ways. Old Duck, Gia Vit, also sucks up to GM, and Directors like a Boing 747 Jet engine, and blows exhaust on her underlings. Has no respect for others, and I hope the law gets their hands on the Old Duck and locks her away for good!

  There are lots of bad bosses on Capitol Hill, but this one is the worst I've ever heard of, and I had her as my chief of staff. She encouraged staff spying on each other, scapegoated her staff, was terrible to everyone when the boss was dating somebody, let important work go undone out of spite and a desire to see certain staff fail, etc. etc. etc. She even didn't give one staffer time off for his wedding! That office loses at least two staffers a year because of her. The stories of her unprofessional behavior are numerous & are hurting the Member's career, yet he keeps her on the staff. She is the worst person I have ever worked for, and that is saying a lot. I would say to any poor bastard that is looking for a job, to stay away from this place.   I forwarded a question to Labour Standards from a young worker at Fabutan who was promised a managerial bonus if she took on manager duties; then afterwards was told that their store didn't meet the monthly quota so she won't get the bonus. I also encouraged her to join a union.
