Totally agree. There should have been some sort of bridge for youth players coming into the senior levels some time ago. It is a huge step and I can think of many young talented players who have either gone elsewhere or just given up the game due to the step up. This is even more relevant now that Bedwas are going well in the first division and attracting fairly big name players and paying generous win bonuses. The gap between youth and senior rugby is getting bigger. Obviously theres the 2s with which yopungsters can get good experience under the watchful eye of Mike. yes also agree but would there be enough players ? some coming up from youth may go straight into the firsts would need looking into but it is imperative to keep hold of all the players for bedwas to keep their status - and it is also better to have your own home grown talent (NT) -- mick, 13:03:50 02/12/02 Tue
