Now I think that the game below a premier/provicial level (of 4 or 6 clubs in European Cup / Celtic League) should be amateur or semi-pro again. I'd include the Cardiff and Newports in that. The pros should be signed to the WRU (under a new management structure) and play a limited number of games. They could play for clubs if not selected for provincial sides. Once this is set up, clubs, like ours, (and Aberavon!), can contest for the highest honours at club level rather than having the carrot of promotion repeatedly withdrawan. -- The (Unofficial) Bedwas RFC Chat Forum

And yes. Dock their pay. They should have a decent living wage, no bonuses for losses or caps earned. Win bonuses can be increased for games against England, France etc and bonus-bonuses intoriced against the likes of Italy to reward winning margins (�2000 for a win, +�2000 for +20 points, +�2000 for +40 points etc).
