::The Alpha female padded into the area, gazing around with tearful eyes:: ...ah...yes...a perfect place for me...::She stepped out from under a tree, laying down in the sun, her mind spinning with memories and thoughts::
::Yes...she cared for her pack. The Avian Lupus was her love...but...it hurt...she couldn't get the pain the stop. Slowly, a blue haze covered her vision as she went back to years ago. This was not the first time she lost someone she loved. No...it had happened before...but, it was a stranger situation then...::
::She was younger then...rejected by the saber-wolves for her beliefs and thoughts. She was not like them. They disliked humans. They were strict, much like normal wolves. She did not take to summitting...she wanted fairness. It would not do.::
::She had always taken a liking to humans when she was younger, living happily in The Valley. There were no others like herself...she was the only Winged one. She saved a human once, from the clutches of the sabers, who wished to take revenge on the woman for killing their kin. The pure white wolf befriended and convinced this human never to hunt the wolves again...she had children, two. She had adopted two young fox pups...what had ever happened to her beloved young ones? Sanis...he was her brother, pure black, with wings like him. Whatever happened to him? She did not know.::
::A man...a human man. As she watched an island of the Saber-Wolves' burn from far off on the shore of The Valley, unable to help, this man had approached her. She had wished to be human for so long...and he could feel this within her. Thus, he granted her the ability to shift into what she cared so much about...she became part of the two-legger world. She had fallen in love with this human, and he with her. But time separated them. The peaceful Valley fell apart...she saw him once after that. Her love was gone. She was alone.::
::Tears streamed from the Alpha's eyes as she sobbed, swimming in her sorrows and pain, her mind screaming at her to be strong. Her pack, her friends needed her to be strong. But her heart screamed back. She was just like them...could she not be weak once in a while?::
::"Tundra, weak Tundra...wipe your tears and stand up...do not be weak. Do not wallow in your pity. Arise! Forget the past!" But she could not. So, she continued to cry. Alone.::
