Slavely,

Your comments are not voiced to an empty room.

I must say I have noticed the same. There is a significant "conduct" difference between the two groups. As an outsider looking in, you guys have a lot going for you on the playing field and your play should speak for itself. Many, many of the players are children (sometimes I can't tell the difference) and we should remember that while playing. They may not be able to comprehend when you are kidding or just trying to get them into frenzied play. The auto responses I think are the worst since it comes on so frequently and to anyone, not just those you know. The Southpark stuff, while funny the first time, gets old quickly and I'm not so sure it is appropriate for the very young due to the choice of colorful metaphors used. For a private server, no problem, but I make the assumption that there are eight year olds playing in every game on a public server. Yes, I know it is on public broadcast, but I would not allow my children to watch it. And, before you reply, yes, UT is a violent game of killing, but it is still just a game and does not have any personal reference to it.

The number one criteria for the new clan I am creating is maturity. I expect all players to be sportsman-like in winning and in losing. Afterall, this is just a game in cyberspace that has no tangible meaning for us away from our wonderful little computers.

Happy sniping.
