In reply to: Jacob 's message, "Quite..." on 17:13:57 10/22/01 Mon

Nods assent toward Duke's wish. "Yes.. I figured on that before I came here... which is why I chased him awy before.. don't worry.. he'll leave soon... and if he ever does go below himself to break any glass, I'll pay for the damages." The large maroon flecked raptor clicks his beak once more at his keeper before feasting on the slivers of meat, pinfeathers rustling.

Gaze turns to Jacob. "Yes he does hunt... he's in training... my second... my first was an osprey... those aren't too bad.. but then again maybe it's because that one came close to fully trained. He hunts and then he eats it... especially when he knows he's already gorged himself." Using a light finger, the youth plucks a trailing feather out from the predator's tail. "If you're going to get a hangover, go see the healer or something... I heard there's one over in the country fields... never seen her work, mind you, but she must've had some reputation to get this far. Or if you're too lazy to get your bottom over to that glen, then have someone make a warm drink for you in the morning... clears your mind and eases the headache... maybe." Grins.
