A trivial wind is born from insignificance
Gradual progression into insurgent power
Discordance sweeps through the reasoning
Fury of the storm finds fuel from a nameless cause
Unleashed, the storm is extraordinary in its potency
A cyclone of destruction
Fracturing everything in its path
Overwhelming all on the approach to finality
To tame the storm would be foolish at best
And hiding from it just as irrational
The only way to get through
Is to ride the tempest out
To hold fast through the torrent
And petition for a safe conclusion
Hoping when it’s over
There is still something recognizable remaining
