...A little brown rabbit sat contently on a dried log, his black nose twitching merrily at the great smell of the yummy flower he chewed on. The short, velveteen ears of the little creature swayed about in the air, keeping only the sense of sound atuned and aware, while he concentrated on his breakfast. What a wrong move.
Behind the occupied rabbit, in the dense foliated bracken, crouched the young she-wolf dubbed Saida, her golden optics set intently on her target. Her listeners inched forward as they locked onto the quiet soundwaves emitted by the bunny as he munched away on his food, and with slow, perfected delicacy, she raked her blunt claws against the rich sodden and flora beneath her. Her structure was ridgid in a motionless stance, with only her tense muscles rippling under the fleshy creamed pelt. Hackles bristled slightly, but still she stayed, dead frozen, as throught the leaves of the brush she watched her prey.
The brown rabbit perked up a touch, as the slight sounds of something nearby caught his attention. His large, round black eyes lifted formt he flower and turned to face the bracken behind him,curiousity begining to bubble inside him. His small front paws dropped the flower and pressed against the ground, and in a couple of repeaded actions, the little fuzzy thing brought his hind legs up and forward, sliding closer and closer towards his fate.
The she-wolf watched the 'food' come more and more within reach, straining to stay still and wait patiently. But soon, she couldn't wait anymore.
The rabbit glanced up, and in a rush for a furry blur, he was knocked to the side by a huge giant 'thing. His hind legs scrambled to get him back up, and soon he dashed forwards, but he was followed close behind by the scary monster.
Saida tried desperately to keep her ground, her limbs straining in buldging muscle to keep her at her prey's heels. Her armed jaws snapped at the thing, and in a quick, metallic flash, she managed to lunge forward, throwing her parted muzzle around the rabbit's rump. She
The bunny screamed in a high pitched wail, as the feeling of razor sharp teeth puncuated his hide in a bang. The smell of blood had speeded over his nose, but he tried to kick his predator off in a scurrying attempt to get free. But it was no use. Soon, a large paw crushed his little ribs, and the trap of pointy canines clamped over his neck, first sufforacting him. His hindlegs kicked in the last effort to get free, then, *SNAP*. His life ended in a crack of his neck.
Huffing and puffing, Saida dropped her hunt on the ground, her lungs expanding and retracting rapidly. She stood for a moment, catching her breath, before she snatched her prey and turned on her heels, trotting happily towards the den area pertaining to the pack. She had caught herself some grub.
