She leans into his long smooth ground-eating rocking strides. She barely thouches the right rein against his neck and he spins left and around the first barrel. She heads him for the second and thouches the right rein to his neck and he spins left around the barrel. He raises his head in excitement as she brings the left ring to his neck, and he heads right and around the last barrel. She throws his head upward and rockets forward strecthing out his neck and rocketing past the flags. She barely asks him to halt and he stops on a dime. "Good Boy, Kickin'," she whispers softly into his ear and strokes his barely sweaty neck.
