Subject: Are You people Totally Insane?

Are you people totally insane? BSB, satanic? Come on, get real. You christian extremist are getting a bit fanatical, aren't you? You attack everything that does not directly praise your god. I assume then that you do not watch any television, other then the religious channals? No sitcoms, no game shows, no news, right? Or do you people just like to complain about everything just to hear yourselves talk? Yes, there are satanic bands out there, but they are rather unknown bands. Most of the groups that you extremists always want to protest aren't even truly 'satanic'. Take, for instance, the band that gets all you extremists drooling over to protest, Marilyn Manson. The only 'satanic' thing he ever did was to name one of his albums 'Antichrist Superstar'. The album, in fact, had more to do with fame and societys' obsession with stardom, then it did with anything 'satanic'. But most you extremist would rather take words out of context, or more precisely, blindly follow what others say, then actually learn the truth about anything. And, of course, you only go after people, or bands, that are popular. Back to the marilyn Manson example. We he came to town in '96, before he hit it big, there were no protesters at all, even though his album at the time was probably more 'offensive' then his later work. But when he came back to town after he hit it big, the protestors were everywhere. If you extremists truly wanted Manson to dissappear, you would just ignore him. I would think by now that you would learn that the more publicity you give a person, the more famous he/she gets, i.e., the more money he/she makes. But that is what it's all about, publicity. You extremists want the publicity as well. Otherwide you would be protesting the realy statanic bands such as 'Diacide' (sp?). But since groups like that are not widely known, you christian extremists do not go after them, because you would get no publicity.
And furthur more, how can you try to ban someone from using the same constitutional rights that allow you to protest them? I have no problem with you protesting things that you do not agree with, and I will defend your right to do that, but you have to give me the same respect to listen to whatever music I wish, whther you agree with it or not. But that would involve tolerance, and from what I have seen, the bible preaches tolerance, but you extreme christians do not follow it. it seems you are very fanantical christians, not a far cry from fanatical muslims who fly planes into buildings for the glory of ther god.
I thought god preached that you should love your fellow man, I though he preached that you should loving and tolerate, and to not judge. Am I wrong about that? Is the bible wrong when it says that?

Oh, and I did go to church for many years, until I realized that organized religion was so ful of holes, contradictions and double standards, that I had to move on. And that was long before I started listening to any kind of music, good or bad, so you cannot say that influenced me. I have two college dgrees, so you cannot say I am ignorant. I am married, and even got married in a church and have read most of the bible, the koran, as well as the teachings of several other religions, so you cannot say that i am spiritually ignorant.

One last note, and I will end this rather long message. On the subject of prayer in school. I am all forit, as long as you cover prayers for all religions, not just christian. Because, whether you like it or not, christianity is not the only religion in this country. And since this country is based on equality, all religions have to be considered. I know you do not like that idea, but sorry, those are the facts of life.
