Aviation Employee Placement Service, South Florida AirFair, June 7-8, 2002

Ft. Lauderdale The Aviation Employee Placement Service (AEPS) South Florida Aviation Career AirFair will land in Ft. Lauderdale on Friday, June 7th and Saturday, June 8th. The aviation career forum will be held at the Broward County Convention Center and promises to draw the aviation industry's finest in pre-qualified candidates and employers.

This is the third time the AEPS Aviation Career AirFair has come to Ft. Lauderdale. Typically, the AirFair program will include between 40 and 60 major aviation companies recruiting for pilots, flight attendants, aviation mechanic technicians as well as various management and customer service employee candidates. The average AEPS AirFair hosts 1,000 aviation employee candidates.

The AirFair offers employers an economical way to interview large numbers of qualified applicants who are committed to a career in aviation. It offers applicants a forum to find opportunities available in aviation. No like event in the aviation industry can provide a professional atmosphere where applicants can be both interviewed and tested.

The AirFair concept is a compliment to the company's already successful web based online placement service. The goal of the AirFair is to offer a vehicle where employers have face to face contact with up to 1,000 prospects at a time in a comfortable setting. Aviation related companies continue to look to AirFairs for promising candidates with specific experience to fill aircrew, technicians and management positions. The AEPS South Florida AirFair will be no exception.

AEPS (www.aeps.com) is the largest provider of aviation career services in the world. In addition to AirFair programs, the Internet based company has built a members database of more than 85,000 potential aviation applicants worldwide. Approximately 7,000 aviation career recruiters utilize the database.

The South Florida Aviation Career AirFair will be open Friday, June 7 th from 2:00 to 6:00 p.m. and Saturday, June 8 th from 11:00 a.m. to 3:30 p.m. The Broward County Convention Center is located at 1950 Eisenhower Blvd. in Ft. Lauderdale.

A small registration fee of $10 for active AEPS and Universal Pilot Application Service (UPAS) members, $10 for students with a valid I.D. and $20 for non-members can be paid in cash at the door.
